Syncing Images with Records on the Data Source is a powerful feature in Tweak that allows you to associate images from a Collection with your data records.
To set up this synchronization, follow these steps:
To sync assets with a data source, follow the consecutive steps:
1- Click on Your Brand on the left toolbar of the Tweak platform and select Custom Metadata
2- Click on Add new and add a new Text or Number metadata - the purpose of this metadata is to link the assets to the data source records.
3- Create a collection with the assets you would like to sync.
4- Make sure that all the assets you would like to like to your records in the data source have this newly created metadata with unique data that will match the records with the value of the selected Primary Key.
1- Click on Data Editor on the left toolbar of the Tweak platform.
2- Double click on any available Data Source and click on Properties setup.
3- Add a DAM Image property with a linked Collection of all the assets you would like to sync with the data source and toggle the Sync switch.
4- Under Linking Attribute from the ensuing popup window, select the Custom metadata you created in the previous step.
5- Ensure that there is a data type on the records with the same value as the custom metadata on the assets - ideally you would like that to be the title or name of the records, but you can add a property specifically for the link.
6- At the Sync Image Asset popup you are allowed to adde more linking attributes like: Sections, Dynamic Tags and Filters(second Custom Metadata).
7- Save you property changes and return to the records page.
8- Click on Sync in order to sync your records with the DAM Assets.
