CSV Import in Tweak allows you to efficiently manage and update data sources.
This streamlined process helps you keep your data up-to-date and ensures seamless integration with your Tweak templates.
Columns Header - The column header must exactly match with the name of the property created on Tweak. Any difference may cause the import to break.
Text - Expect to receive Text input.
Number - Expect to receive Numbers only.
Price - Expect to receive number only without the currency symbol and the number of decimal based on the value added on the Decimals field on the creation of the property.
DAM Image - Don’t need to be added on the CSV as this column will be connected on Tweak side.
Image URL - It’s expecting to receive an Image URL, the system will download the image and connect to the Record.
Date - The date must be in the yyyy-mm-dd format.
Boolean - Boolean properties must be lower case with “true” and “false”.
The system doesn’t allows two records with the same primary key.
To export a CSV header and CSV, follow the consecutive steps:
1- Click on Data Editor on the left toolbar of the Tweak platform.
2- Double click on any available Data Source.
3- Click on Export CSV Headers on the right panel(Once you open the export CSV file, you can check the exactly writing of the properties).
4- Click on Export CSV on the right panel (Once you open the export CSV file, you can update the available data, add more data and …)
To Import a CSV, follow the consecutive steps:
1- Click on Data Editor on the left toolbar of the Tweak platform.
2- Double click on any available Data Source.
3- Click on Import CSV to upload the updated exported file - Update will add new records to the existing records, and will update existing records with new data if it exists. Replace will populate the data source with only the new data.
