Linking Flipbooks and Slideshows to URLs(Hotlinks)

Hotlinks allows you to add interactive links to your template output.

1. Add a URL property to your data source and populate the records with relevant links.
2. In the template editor, access the Hotlinks feature and select the suggested Smart Data Groups. Choose the Data Source Property and an Icon for display.
3. To create a Manual URL Hotlink, highlight an area on the template and input the URL.
4. Export your template as a Flipbook or Slideshow to preserve the active Hotlinks.

With Hotlinks, you can enhance user engagement and navigation in your templates by adding interactive links to web pages or specific content.

Here's a quick guide:

Step 1: Add a URL Property to Data Source

1- Click on Data Editor on the left toolbar of the Tweak platform and double click on the data source you want to use.

2- Click on Properties Setup and add a new Text property to the data source.

3- Populate all the records with the relevant url link for the newly added property.

Step 2: Add Hotlinks to a Templates

1- On the template editor, click on Hotlinks.

2- The system will suggest Smart Data Groups. 

3- Click on the suggested Smart Data Groups.

4- On the Hotlinks page now select the Data Source Property that contains the URL and also the Icon that will be displayed on the Flipbook and Slideshow.

5- To create a Manual URL Hotlink, simply click and drag to highlight the area and input an URL.

Step 3: Export Template as a Flipbook or Slideshow

1- On the template editor, click on the Download icon at the top right corner and select Generate Flipbook or Generate Slideshow.
